Drama Workshop: Page to Stage

Downloads for the Spring Semester 2021

A difficult decision

At present, and this is really upsetting, we  have to come to terms with the fact that under the present circumstances, and they are likely to last for the foreseeable future, we have to cancel the Midsummer Night's Dream project.  Nicole and I will try to come up with a follow-up, possibly in early Autumn, to get this idea from the Page to the Stage.

The current page is "under construction"

We're back to the situation of last two semesters where we were unable to meet in person. I still hope (against hope, I suppose) this won't last for ever, and that perhaps we may have a workshow sometime in the last weeks of the semester, but for the moment we're in the unwelcome position of having to do this workshop online yet again. The Zoom link for the entire semester is https://unibe-ch.zoom.us/j/95286583540
I would like to consider a number of options, one of which would be do give Shakespeare's Twelfth Night a similar treatment to what we did last semester with Midsummer Night's Dream.

Task: A flirty exchange of messages

Please remember that the point here is that you are in a way recreating the situation
  • between Olivia and Cesario/Viola, she interested in them, them intrigued but not wanting to get in too deep,
  • in a way also looking at Cesario/Viola and their relationship with Orsino, who thinks he is talking to a young man
